REPORT ON FRESHERS’
DAY AND INAUGURATION OF ACADEMIC YEAR 2025–2027 B ED BATCH

The Mahajubilee Training
College, Mulloorkara, celebrated Freshers’ Day in conjunction with the Inauguration
of the New Academic Year (2025–2027) on 21st July 2025. The event commenced
at 9:30 a.m. in the college auditorium, marking the ceremonial beginning for
the new batch of B.Ed. students.
The programme began with a prayer led by a B.Ed.
student, followed by readings from the Holy Scriptures, setting a
spiritual and reflective tone for the gathering. An invocation session
was also conducted by a student, adding a solemn atmosphere to the occasion.The
welcome address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Chacko Chiramel,
Principal of MJTC, who greeted the new students and encouraged them to embark
on this academic journey with commitment and curiosity.
The presidential address was given by Rev.
Dr. Shiju Chittilappilly, Assistant Manager of the institution, who
emphasized the college’s values and commitment to holistic teacher
education.The highlight of the day was the formal inauguration of the
academic year. The inaugural address and lamp-lighting ceremony
were conducted by Msgr. Jaison Koonamplakkal, Vicar General of the
Archdiocese of Trichur. His inspiring words motivated students to embrace their
roles as future educators with responsibility and grace.
A pledge was
administered by Ms. Ancy George, Assistant Professor, affirming the
students' dedication to their educational and professional responsibilities.Felicitation
was offered by Ms. Jayamol Xavier E., Assistant Professor, who
congratulated the freshers and extended her best wishes for their academic
success.
The vote of thanks
was delivered by Ms. Deepa M.J., Staff Secretary, expressing gratitude
to all dignitaries, faculty, staff, and students for their participation and
support in making the event successful.The program concluded with the National
Anthem and instructions from the Principal for the smooth
continuation of the academic schedule.The event was a blend of inspiration,
solemnity, and celebration, reflecting the ethos of Mahajubilee Training
College and setting a promising tone for the new academic year.
